Culter is not coming to Washington

Honestly, I do not even know why this is even brought up. The skins have very little cap room, spend over $150 million in free agency, and they cannot afford to trade draft picks. But with Snyder calling the shots, everything is possible. Well, Vinny Cerrato told Jason La Canfora that the skins are not interested in Jay Culter and they planning to move with Jason Campbell as their starter in 2009.

" Just got a text from Vinny Cerrato, Washington's executive vice president of football operations, who wrote that there's no truth to an Internet report that the team is actively pursuing a trade for disgruntled Denver quarterback Jay Cutler. In addition, Coach Jim Zorn has told many in the organization he is excited about Jason Campbell's potential growth in the second season of Zorn's spread offense. Campbell, who is participating in the team's offseason conditioning program at Redskins Park, will be in his third full season as the Redskins' starter."

Didn't Vinny said the same thing to Albert Haynesworth before the free agency period started, and yet they sign him to seven year, $100 million contract? Anyway, I expect Campbell to be our QB this season. It is his contract year anyway. But with this management, you can never be certain about anything the front office mentions.
